Solved Something going wrong with one of my members' accounts

    Post by Brianman908 Wed 13 Jun 2012 - 19:07

Yesterday she couldn't log in. She was able to log in to another account she has, but not her main one. I changed her password and tried logging in and it logged me in with no problem. I sent her the new password but it still wasn't working for her. I changed it again and the second time it worked for her. Today she made a poll and then for whatever reason the poll was deleted. I checked to see how it was deleted. It was her username and IP listed as having deleted it. Anyone know what could be causing this?

About the login issues, i think its a case where she entered a wrong password & nothing more.
It was her username and IP listed as having deleted it.
She possibly deleted it by mistake.

No I'm sure she didn't delete it herself and she didn't enter the wrong password. I copied and pasted the password exactly and sent it to her. I'm sure she copied and pasted it when she entered it

The fact that you tried it & it worked, just says that everything is fine with the account.

Passwords should never be copied & pasted. Ask her to type it & check.

So, then, would it be possibly something wrong with her internet access?

I don't think internet access would give an error that the password entered is incorrect, so ask her what error she got.

It was the error as if she had entered the wrong password, but I'm sure she was entering the right one

Change the password again & give it to her. But, since its working now you don't have to do it. Be assured, there is nothing to worry about Wink

Um, if it happens again or if her posts start getting deleted and she's not doing it there is something to worry about
