how do i put two widgets at top of forum on PHPBB2

I know there's a code for this, but the code doesn't work for us on phpbb2. Is there anyway to put 2 widgets at top? Like you can on portal, i need the right side to be 80% for my new latest topics widget, and the left side 20% for the top posters widget, i need help with this because i dont know any coding, and i don't know how to put these widgets in an announcement either. THANKYOU if you can help me, ive needed help on this since i started making my forum, WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE:

But i want that on top of my forum not the portal.

Yup thats the tutorial im talking about, it doesnt work for phpbb2 others have tested and have gotten the same results

Ive tried multiple things as well Fusion and it does not work for me either. I believe LG gave me a code like the </div><div> code for others that he wanted me to try for phpbb2 but sadly does not work.

Phpbb2 uses tables, so its generally hard to force a different outcome, and generally the browser will keep it well formed. SO its likely not even possible wih phpbb2. Well I mean it is possible, but not using this type of hack.
