Category not Showing Up? Confused Please Help SOLVED

Hello, I have tried many different things and I am still having trouble getting categories to show up within my forum.. I saw some other topics on this that said to try switching to ( medium or full ) I have tried both and still isnt working.. please let me know what I am doing wrong

Try attaching a forum to your category.

It's basically/pretty much what Shaksepeare provided. Add a forum to your category and it will display.

I thought that I did add a forum? it shows Categories are blue forums are green,
My category is Welcome
my first forum is RULES

where am I going wrong here?

Also... i see in your screen shot that the forum you added did show up on your forum... so i dont see where the problem stands?

I guess I am just super confused with it all, I followed the tutorials and entered a category, and a forum.. but mine just isnt looking like i want it too.. my first category was supposed to be WELCOME then inside there would be my forum rules, introductions ect.. but It does not pop up that way in the preview.. i will keep trying and see what I cant figure out thanks everyone for the help

Hi, you need to:

1. Click the modify button ( ) on the forum 'Rules'
2. For 'Attached to' you need to select the category 'Welcome' and then the category should show up
