Topics Splitting...?

For some reason, every time the topics on my forum get to a certain post count, they split. It's not that much of a problem, but is there any way to fix it?

To answer your question no. There is a limits topic on here, i believe it said 990 post then the topic is split. sorry

Oh i know what you mean, sitting there waiting for someone to answer, week later someone tells you not possible. Ive been on here all day trying to help people.
