A Refresh Page Button

I want to make a refresh page button that appears at the bottom of every thread, but honestly have no idea about how to even start making it. I am mostly looking for some advice as I want to try and do it myself so any hints on how to get a button onto every thread would be a start or if someone is just feeling kind and wants to explain some code to me that would be awesome.
