    Solved Fixed navbar

    Post by nextlevelgaming Thu 27 Sep 2012 - 21:46

    I am creating a fixed navbar with a position in the middle of the page. I want to create it so when you minimize the browser it does not overlap the body of the page.

    I tried using this code

    Code:
    $(window).scroll(function(event) {
      $("#pun-navlinks").css("margin-left", $("#pun-navlinks").css("margin-left")-$(document).scrollLeft());
    });

    but it seems to be not working. Any suggestions?

    yeah I know rideem, I have a css made for it. the jQuery is so it does not move left or right when resizing the window

    I had it working one day. But it was a css class that i made, trial basis, then i started to add the widgets, and now since they really dont have a css, I tried using the #left and it just stopped workin...

    And after another test it works Smile lol wow i ask questions alot here cuz i get very impatient, then i fix em myself. Sorry rideem my bad. Hey listen base hasn't been on in a few, and my tuts where being reviewed can you get ahold of him, cuz i have three other tuts that implement invision features to phpbb2 and punbb please.
