    Solved Members able to write topics but not read them

    Post by nextlevelgaming October 6th 2012, 1:17 am

    I am creating a local business category, with a forum inside it for local business to send me information. I want them to be able to write and post the topics. Though I do not want them to see other business' topics.

    So would I go to the permissions section;

    untick read topics

    and tick open a topic?

    yeah tried it. What it does is make it so you can't write in it. I'm going to try to link hack it I'll let you know rideem

    EDIT: (link hack)
    Ok so this kind of thing is possible if people want to do it. They just have to make a link to the post topic of that forum. When they post the topic, they can not read it, nor others. This is pretty cool for complaints for other users persay, or special request.
