As a group owner, can I set it up so as to receive an automated email notification when a new member joins? I tried clicking on my profile, but that wasn't an options in the "preferences" section.

Hi,
I believe that whenever you're the founder you'll receive every last action on your forum, it'll be sent to your email automatically, the one you have used when creating the Forum.

Re: Notification when new member joins?
I found the solution, do the following:
1. Go to your Administration Panel.
2. Click on the "Users & Groups" tab.
3. Click on Users options, and look for the option: Send notify e-mail on new users registration: Admin
