Solved A Certain Smiley Is Overriding Another

Post by .Luke November 23rd 2012, 7:59 pm

I need a little help here, because no matter what I type into Google I can't begin to find the answer to my question. XD

Pretty much, one of my forum regulars and I were making smilies, and just got the bulk of them done and installed. The only problem is that the Very Happy smiley is being overriden by the Smile emoticon. This A Certain Smiley Is Overriding Another S_veryhappy looks fine on the Admin panel, but on the boards, we're getting the normal A Certain Smiley Is Overriding Another 650269930 instead. (Yeah, it's a Shantae fan club, so everything's got that half-genie theme to it. =P)

Is this a small bug in forumotion or PHPBB3 software? I'd hate to have to break the Very Happy smiley in old posts with a totally new "=D" tag, just so it shows up. I've even tried deleting the smiley and putting it back in, but it's no use. Any idea what I'm screwing up on here, guys? XD

EDIT : Ugh, the problem is just that bad! Had to upload the image to my photobucket just so it'd show up. D:

This is my forum, if that helps : http://tsfp.forumotion.org/

Yeah, the Very Happy one has the :D , and Smile has a simple :) in their Smilie Code boxes. If there are any other advanced options for adding or removing smilies, I don't know it! Unless you meant any CSS code for smilies? I can only find lines for the smiley box there. XD

EDIT : Forgot to mention that this encase it needs to be said, but it's not a browser specific problem and I don't keep temp caches of pages after closing, so restarting Firefox isn't fixing anything. I've also checked on the Chrome browser and the problem persists there too.
