I'd like to know how to change the default bbcode icons and add my own. How do I do this with css, or maybe even templates?

Bbcode icons? Like on the text edits buttons? It truly is possible, either a) css for all. Or Templates . though Templates I believe will not effect the quick edit buttons so you'd either have to use CSS or javascript. It truly isn't hard, I've added buttons to the Quick Reply Form. Also changed them up a bit.

Change it to what you want, remember this changes all of them

or go to

ACP>DISPLAY>GENERAL>POST AND PRIVATE MESSAGES>posting_body

search for :: <div id="text_editor_controls">

Change/Add Classes to these buttons below that div, you can also change the <img src=""> code to have different images. Need more help, just ask.

@nextlevelgaming - Thank you, I have one more question for you or anyone. How could I add a new BBCode button. Like for my warning bars? To display to my moderators and above only? I still need to know how to create a BBCode button to, just for moderators and above also.

Yeah if you want to create a button for moderators only well its really not possible, you can add it to your DELETE THREAD buttons that moderators and admin see on the bottom.

then again that would look silly. Or you could make a js code to .remove() that button to all users except you and your moderators.

Now to add a new button go to--

ACP>DISPLAY>TEMPLATES>POST & PRIVATE MESSAGES, look for the code above like i said, and create a new button.

Though like I've stated you can not do this with the quick reply.

Nick the code I provided for you on the site works, just letting you know. Its the javascript above your last post on the site. I checked it on the console and all is working fine
