Personalized Domain name

Hello,
I am having trouble with this forum bettingtips.big-forum.net
I have redirected this domain name probettingtips.info to bettingtips.big-forum.net and it works, but when I put this link in forum administration panel it shows this:
The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : bettingtips.big-forum.net
You have configured a A type DNS ( A type redirects to an IP address, and not to a textual domain name like the CNAME )

Please help me, I realy need to put that name. I already payed for that.

1. Name (or I think it is Host name)
2. Type
3. I am not fully sure about that, I think it is something like address, but in english it means result or ratio.
