Did forumotion get rid of this again? Any fixes yet?

I'm sorry for the late answer, I've got a lot to do here and the techs have much more work with the new features.

The techs have been forced to block the wildcard function, because of numerous big forums which were overloaded the servers with this kind of requests, permanently.

As this functionnality will concern a lot of members and will get a lot of votes, I can ensure you that it will be taken into account.

Well I'm afraid it ain't good enough. I don't see an issue with it. It worked perfect. The search function on the forums is useless without it. 5 years of building a forum for nothing now.... Disgusting

Big reason forums got big was because of the latest posts-it seems we can't make that clear enough to the powers that be. Out of touch possibly? for small forums what you suggest is really all they need. For a rock and rolling forum not gonna cut it. Simples really. And the techs need to upgrade the servers not cut programs that benefits big forums. It was stated the servers can't handle it - that means to me servers need upgrading to handle it.

This is ridiculous! Wake up this morning and hit the "view posts since last visit" button (my last visit was 6 pm yesterday). 2 posts show up!!! Meanwhile I browse through the forum and there were more than 25 posts that I haven't even seen yet!

We need a better option. None listed above help at all

An answer has been given.
The techs have decided to remove the function of the wildcard.

There's a suggestion on this matter also, I think that it could serve as a basis for further improvements of our service.
