I have a member who reported the "Foe" feature found in friends/foes of your profile doesn't work to block posts from view. I had a couple of other members who tested it and reported the same thing. Is there any way I can get this fixed so that it will work again?

then see if "Allow friends/foes management :" is on or off

I have the foes/friends management turned on. I have always had it this way. The foe feature stopped working for some reason and I made no changes.

I am wondering if other sites are experiencing this as well or if it is limited to my site only. Has Forumotion decided to discontinue this? Could it be due to the recent improvements they made that caused it to quit working? I hope someone has the answer.

Hello, I am still wondering about this and why we do not have a foe feature that is operable. Is there an Admin or Mod that can answer this question?

Thank you, Sanket. I have no idea if this could be of interest or not but I have a member who said today that he thinks we have a "hacker". I asked him how so and he replied that we have "ports" under attack. I do not know how he would have access to this kind of info and it may be nothing (as well as incorrect).

Leeloo, this custom template has been in place since April. I set it up to remove the negative vote from the forum and used instructions that were given here to modify it. The negative vote was removed and the "foe feature" continued to work until about the beginning of this month (February was when it was reported by a member that it wasn't working).

I do not want to reinstate the negative vote feature. Is it the upgrades that were done that caused this problem with the template? If so, I will just go without the "foe feature" in order to retain only allowing positive votes.

Please let me know if there is a way to have both still.

All you need to do is either replace the codes or add them in.
If the template is at default, the update was automatic :-)

The updates weren't supposed to work if you have a custom template. I did not implement any updates. The custom template should not need changes if I don't wish to add the update. The changes should not have affected the "foe feature" as this has nothing to do with the updates that were done nor were custom templates included in the update. I have done nothing to cause the "foe feature" to quit working. I had both the "foe feature" and the "only vote positive" in place before and both were working. I would like to know if this is still possible without reverting back to the original template which would cancel the only vote positive. I do not care if banned members messages are hidden or not. I delete members messages who are no longer active on my forum.

I think Leeloo might be able to answer if it's possible to have both; otherwise I will just forgo having the "foe feature" since keeping the "negative vote" off my forum is more important to the members as a whole.
