Solved Hover with other options for navbar?

Post by Mr. Eddster February 26th 2013, 9:52 pm

OK So here is what I want to do. I want to create a "twitter" navbar. And when people hover over it, or click on it, there will become a bunch of options to choose from. Is this possible?
I've created the HTML pages for the options to choose from. All I need to know is if its possible if someone can hover/click on this navbar, and a bunch of options open up.
    Thanks

EDIT: I just thought of it. Know how when you click on "Welcome (your username)", there becomes lots of options to click?? That is EXACTLY what I want, just I need it to be for a navbar!!!

Hmm, I don't think that would really be possible. Whilst you can try this:

sweet Smile that alt to do it.
If not there are a lot of different drop down menus you can find, i have a couple easy ones but would have to find them real fast, However i think what CJ has above would work the best for what your looking to do.

well that code is set up to how they have it in the demonstration.
yo would have to set it up/customize the fields they have, or add things for what you want or remove those you don't want or need.

basically just follow what is set in that outline,
I would have to know and understand how it is your looking to do it and how many links your adding, Honestly for things like this i would just do a whole custom spry menu in dreamweaver, but that is getting a little more advanced and not everyone has dreamweaver.

I mean try to explain how many links your adding and how it is to be set up, like order of nave bar and what one with open with the links, and how many etc... We will do our best to try to get what you want.

And you did add all parts of the code right css and the script that has to go in the head section of your template?

No I did not add the jQuery Code because I did not know where to put it...
The 1st time I put in after the <head> code, which is line 3, and it didnt do anything...

i am going to save this editing for another day, but i did figure out, so this can be solved.

But I think some issues will arise from the looks of it, so i will create a new topic if new issues do rise
