I'm having trouble taking that part out so that all they see is the title of my forum. Can someone help me and tell me how to take that out? I've tried what the member suggested and it is still there.

You can edit that part at:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Search engines (on the left, under Forum promotion)
4. Change it for 'Homepage title'
