uploading swf files
Where can I upload swf files to use on my forum. I tried one site, but because the site they use to allow to view it does not work, so my game turned up white instead of the game coming up.

Register on a free hosting site like bravenet.com & then upload the swf file there.

Re: uploading swf files
Here it will add as a attachment.
It cannot be used in a html code to display it. Is this a question or a suggestion?

Re: uploading swf files
Or you could use dropbox.com ... substitute the www.dropbox.com to dl-web.dropbox.com(file location here)to download files ..instructions are on the site and it hosts SWF files eg
Just click on the SWF file in your dropbox web folder and it will show up on your browser ...Then copy the URL from the top of the browser as an address for the file
- Code:
<center><embed src="https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Photos/Sample%20Album/simon%27s%20blue.swf?w=AACqVQOzhPSbHEsvmKR_AqIGsFRhaTDsUeV6LQYok9IX5w" width="600" height="90" /></center>

Re: uploading swf files
I don't see it anywhere on the forum. Can you post the exact location in the screenshot? Like above the forum or where?

Re: uploading swf files
it doesnt matter, i fixed my problem. you can move it. let people know that in order to add swf files, dont upload it via the forum but use dropbox. upload to dropbox, open up the file and copy, go to your forum and it the flash icon and enter the url of the dropbox swf file. it will appear on the forum.
