forum permission

I set a forum that only certain groups can enter..
but the setting always revert back after couple days, sometime couple weeks..
how to solve this ?

Do you have any other admins that could possibly be doing this?

Also if you have in the forum permissions a "Copy Forum Permissions" and it interlinks with other forums then if you changed one forum group then others will be effected.

Example: Forum A is set up
Forum B has "Copy Forum Permissions of Forum A
You edit Forum A Permissions then Forum B could be effected.

This could explain why some changes are taking place.

It could also, like I said, be other admins doing it (if you have any) I'd therefore check with them to make sure.

It is very strange to hear that the permissions are changing by themselves. As mentioned above, is there anyone else who could possibly be changing the permissions? You can check by going to the security logs.

Other than that, please also make sure that you're also not changing them by mistake each time you go to edit the forum.
