Solved Blocking an entire link from being used

Post by Patchy March 31st 2013, 3:37 pm

Is there any way at all to do this? I've no patience for coloholics stealing members by PM on my forums.

I want to block an entire url and I tried the word censor which failed. It needs to be blocked on forum and in PM's.

    Hi,

    Simply navigate:
Admin panel >> General > Word censorship (On the left menu) and insert the basic link with * on it.
    For example:
    Normal: help.forumotion.com
    With censorship: help.forumotion.com*

The * is a wildcard which will stop anything that has this, or extended versions, ie .com/forum or .com/anything_that_passes_here.

Something that can help would be placing a minimum amount of posts before they're able to send a pm.

ACP >> General >> Messages & Emails >> Private Messages >> Second Option.

Thanks Radio, but that didn't work. I'll use gray's option. Thanks you two.
