recent topics widget code

hi, it's me again haha
and i was searching for a code for a recent topics widget, cuz i know i have seen it before, but now i can't find it anymore. and i know i could just add the widget, but i wana customize it and everything, so i would really appreciate the code to it

no, just the normal code/script for that widget, so i can manually put in a new widget, or at least some CSS codes so i can edit it ^^

You can actually edit its appearance by CSS?

i have no idea, that's why i'm asking haha i used to have the code of the widget, but i changed my computer cuz the old one broke and i never really got to save the code on this computer

Ok, so you want only that widget to be modified? I have not yet seen the code of that widget .

We can't give you those code since those are added via the database I believe.. The link provided is the closing thing that I've seen.

Jophy yeah i just want to add a background and a custom border and maybe change some fonts and stuff like that ^^
Sir Chivas™ what about some similar things to that? like not the exact same code, but something close to it?

Well someone who's expert on CSS can provide a code to change the appearance of it, but it will affect all the widgets on the forum as well.

If you only want to change its appearance then I will provide the codes to change the appearance, but it will change all of the other widgets, just like Jophy mentioned.

well i only have some custom widgets so that wouldn't be a problem ^^

my forum version is phpbb2 and my forum is http://testinggraphics.slovenianforum.com/
and i want it to look like the top widget that i have only to have a border on the bottom not the top ^^
and maybe if it was possible to add a title to it, like in the top widget?

There is already a default widget for latest topics.

Wait and see if sir chives has it.
Because that is one of the widgets you can't edit/thus get the code.
For phpbb2 and punnBB I think it is in the templats?
If so, you may be able to place the template code part for that to a java script page then imoport to a custom widget.

I am just guessing so am not sure of that would work?
Right now I am on my iPod so would not be able to test until latter.
