    Solved Moderators cannot see topics/images

    hey there

    okay so to cut to the chase
    we just hired a few new moderators and they seem not to be able to see links and images in the staff board.....

    how come?
    what do i need to do in the adminpanel to fix this?
    (they got access, they are in the moderator usergroup and rank.... so really no idea whats missing here)

    i've got no clue myself

    Hello,

    Do you mean the index/forum images or links and images on posts? Did you try this yourself with a test account being a moderator on your forum? Kindly please explain more of the problem.

    • Please be clear with your questions or problems. Screenshots, links and new codes you installed, will help solve your issue quickly.

    well its like, they can get in the staff board but in this topic (in the staff board)
    i posted links to other topics (from the staff board) and those links are covered by the text ''Only mods are allowed to see this link''

    which is strange because THEY ARE moderators

    General>Categories and Forums
    Click on that forum name
    Permissions tab
    View links in the messages: Members
    Save.
    See if that works.

    already had moderator as its option
    so its not that either

    i dont know if this has anything to do with it
    but the owner of the forum, had made hidden personal usergroups for the other moderators.... and those other moderators seem not to have this problem
    strange? i never knew why the owner made this personal hidden usergroups

    Are the groups having moderator access for atleast one forum?
    Users & groups>Group administration
    Click on a group name
    Permissions tab.
    Check is moderator.
