Hello,
It's not allowed to remove the footer links completely, you can purchase the removal of some links by credits:
Admin Panel > Misc > Spend Credits > Copyrights
That will remove most of the links, but the phpbb (and the report an abuse link) must be retained as far as I know.

I paid to have adds removed and the top banner went away, how do I remove the adds on the side now?
