Vote redirect to topic

Hello.
I am registered in this forumotion forum that had a vote widget.
I voted in the widget and redirected me to the voting topic.
How can I do that?

Just add the vote widget like you add forum widgets.

On this forum, there is no vote widget added. Which forum did you vote on?

I tried it on my phpbb2 test forum. It redirects me to the thread after a 2-4 second gap.

What is your forum URL? Add permissions for a guest to vote.

Guests can vote, I think.

I can not vote (poll widget) on your forum, so you need to change the permissions.

But I don't understand why you guys want to vote in my forums, if it doesn't redirect to the topic....

what did you change?

Voting allowed for guests.
User and groups > user options > Allow guests to vote : Yes
But i know perfectly well it doesn't work, so I don't see why, but ok.

I still can not vote on your forum.

I don't know why though, I even allowed guests to vote in that forum section...

you have to be sure it is set in all your forums permissions as well.
if you are only doing this so we can test it and do not wish to allow guest to post when the problem is solved then just set the permissions for one forum guest have access to and can post.. Then be sure to post your test poll in that forum that has permissions for guest to post/vote/create poll


You can find the forum permissions in

Admin panel>General>Categories and forums>forums

click on the permissions icon for the forum you want to set it to.
Be sure you have ADVANCED permissions options on, and then for guest. check off VOTE and CREATE POLL boxes and hit save

Ok. Then send a pm with a test account so I can log in.

do you have the widget permissions set for guest to?

admin panel>modules>forum widgets

click on the permissions icon for polls widget and be sure it is set for guest.

Hmm weird... I always have the firefox/chrome problems.
In firefox works pretty fine, not in chrome.
Well thanks anyway. I will re-install chrome to see if it solves!

It also worked when I voted as a guest.
