    Solved Missing "post reply" button

Post by Corrie April 29th 2013, 9:26 pm

One of my members is saying that he cannot make a reply to any post, however, he allowed me to use his password and I logged in as him. I had no problems whatsoever making replies to any post. He has tried once more and again he cannot get "post reply" or no "new post" icons on any section of the forum. I have asked other members if they have had a similar problem and one has reported that a couple of times the "post reply" icon was not there for him to use. Another member has stated --quote
there was a problem earlier in the day when although I could log in it was NOT possible to post a thread or to reply to a earlier thread.

It seems to be back to normal now. ---unquote

    Can you help please?

I have noticed today, custom icons buttons, images, etc. are missing from my forum, all served by illweb. There is another thread started about this, but not much response yet. I hope it is resolved soon!

it may just be illweb/servimg was down for maintenance or just down. if so it will not be down long and not really much you can do but wait. that is if this is the case.

If you like to create a forum where guest can view and post i will go and see if i can see them as guest and do a test post.

Thanks for info, that is a relief! I've just been told that all is ok now, so it must have been as you have said....illweb/servimg down for maintenance.

    Thanks for help.
