Resetting 'Top Posters' sidebar widget?

Hey guys,
after using the search function and FAQs to my fullest possibilities I still can't find a solution to my problem.
We are using the 'Top Posters' widget on the side bar of our forum. In the past we had many active forum members which have become inactive, though they are still kind of VIPs and must not be deleted for this reason.
Recently our forum has gained a whole lot of new and active members who will never have a chance to appear in the Top Posters count within a reasonable amount of time.

So my question is, as in the topic description,
'Can I reset or restart the forum post count or at least the Top Posters statistics without having to delete members or thousands of single posts????
I have a bad feeling your answer will be 'No', but hope never dies

You are correct. It can not be reset.
