How to create pop-up chatbox (Invision)

Basically, I want to make a pop-up chat box like this site:

I have also tried to follow his directions from here:

Those directions did not help. I wonder if it is because i'm using Invision. In anycase, I thought it's better that I just make my own post so that someone can explain step by step on how to do this. I'm not very familiar with widgets either. When I tried making the widget from the directions, the widget didn't even show up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
