In progress Admin rights have been removed

Post by mariusmm May 25th 2013, 1:49 am

Hey...I own a forum and we were 3 admins (moderators)
Now one of us has kicked all the others from moderators group;therefore,I've lost my admin rights.
Is there any way I can get them back, except by begging ?Smile

Was it the founder who kicked everyone out? E,g, the person who created the forum?

If so, there is nothing you can do.

However if it was a regular admin then you can contact the founder of the forum and ask him to sort this mess out.

    Hello,

Yep, there's nothing we can do if you were demoted by the founder himself/herself.

However, if that's not the situation, please explain more, thanks Smile

    Hey.
We have a forum and I,along with other 2 persons were moderators.
Now,one of the guys kick me and the other dude, and he remains the only moderator.
And yes,he was the founder, but the 3 of us were all moderators.
    That counts,doesn't it?
    Thanks.

    Sorry it doesn't count.

The founder has the right to remove moderators/admins whenever he wishes. It might be unfair but sadly that is his doing and choice.

There isn't really anything you can do sorry.

Isn't there a way you can do this using the Forum Utilities? https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

Those tools only work if you're the founder as it requires the founder log in details. She was just a normal moderator/admin. Plus it was the founder who removed the her from the moderator/admin group anyway.

Everyone needs to understand that a founder has the right to do whatever he/she wants to his/her forum. The only way Forumotion would get involved is if the forum is breaking the Terms of Services. Removing staff is not breaking the Terms of Service.
