Is there a way to add friends directly instead of searching for them or typing their username?

Re: Directly add friends.
What do you mean? like a friendship button on a post? I don't think this is possible.
You can visit their profile and click on the "Add to my friends list link"
Example:
See the red box with an arrow, you can add them by clicking that link.

Re: Directly add friends.
I don't even think thats a real copyright
I mean what exactly is copyrighted or cant be modified (A java-script) ?
Whatever the case real or fabricated.
That was a code that is supposed to be free for use to the public, Any codes/scripts that are going to have these types of messages them will not be permitted. To me it seems only to be for promotional purpose? If we was start allowing codes/scripts such as these Before you know it you will have others adding their own messages in to do the same thing?
SITE NAME REMOVED. All Rights Reserved. Use and modification of this script is not allowed without this entire copyright notice in the original, copied, or modified script. No distribution without consent
What SLGray means is,You can post the link to the tutorial page of the forum.
However please be sure the whole tutorial is there without having to register in order to get all directions and whats needed. If it was something members would have to register first in order to see, then the link would not be permitted.
But yeah other then that. It has nothing to do with you Felix Halim
Thank you for all your help

I think those codes will just add a link in the profile "add as friend" but still the same thing will happen. You need to type the username again. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Directly add friends.
If you do what derri said you dont have to type a name in.
You click the persons profile, then click the add to my friends list options right in their profile where derri said..
Add the bottom of the list your list of friends you have now,You will then see the persons name with a little add tab next to it. Just click the add tab and thats it
Oh pretty sure they will still have to accept it though.

I am not sure?
I will have to find out if LGforum has that tutorial as a open source where guest can see and you do not have to register in order to get it. He dose have a lot of tutorials like that, but he also has other tuts to where you have to be a member. If it is one of them that you do not need to be a member to see it then the link can be posted here. Other then that i defiantly think this is a option formotion should add for sure, You can check out the suggestion board here to see if it is posted, if not feel free to create a suggestion there on it and i will be sure to vote for it

Felix ??? lol
You have to be registered to that forum in order to see the images and rest of the tutorial.
We only allow links to be posted to tutorials that do not require any registrations in order to view/get the tutorial.
The original creator of the script is a member here on forumotion support forum to,his name LGforum.. I did notice that the forum link you posted did indeed give credit to him , so sure he would be happy to know that, But anyway yeah. all tutorial links must be to where members do not have to join or register to a site in order to get the complete tutorial
the reason we no longer allow tutorial links of sites you have to register to in order to get the tutorial is because. We was getting a lot of people simply posting their forum link for solutions to problems and subjecting members here to having to register to the forums. Thus using this method only as a way promote and gain members to their sites. Such post like this was not a soultion at all and unfair to our members that come here for support. So now All forum promotions here must be done through the forumotion promotions sections, and members are also allowed to add their forums link in to their profile as well..
