Activity points - need explanation

First of all, sorry if this is not the right place for this topic.

I wanted to ask some questions about activity points:
Can they be spent to buy credits with them?
For example, to spent activity points on domain name or to remove advertisements...
Also, I know about information that when your forum reaches certain number of points, you get domain, but mine has about 14000 points and nothing happened... So, the question is, was that giving of domain to some forums just promotional? And, are you still giving domains to forums that have certain amount of activity points?

No one is aware of the number of activity points that qualify for a free domain name. If its being offered for free, it will appear in the admin panel when you go to book a domain name.
