Age Display

Hi,

I tried to go over this part of the forum and I also searched the forum related to the Age Display topic, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything. I apologize if I missed it somewhere.

I was wondering if it is possible to disable AGE display for forum members. For example on the bottom of the forum there is a notification for which member is having a birthday in next 7 days and which members are having a birthday today. I was wondering if there is a option to disable or an option for members to disable themselves the age display. So that instead:

No users have a birthday today
Users with a birthday within the next 7 days: MemberX (35)

there could be:


No users have a birthday today
Users with a birthday within the next 7 days: MemberX


I tried to test it and leave the Year blank when filling the birthday fields, but it doesn't let me. I looked around the administrator panel, but I can't seam to find how to fix this. The forum is set up for people younger than 18 can not join, but still not all members like their age being displayed, but notification about their birthdays is handy.

Try to hide the Age Field using the Admin Panel. (Admin Panel>Users & Groups>Users>Profiles). Hit the Settings icon next to Age. Uncheck the two boxes (Messages and Profile) next to "Display:". See if that helps.

Hey, Thanks for the tip. I tried it But only thing I can do is to not display the age in profile but it still appears on bottom of the forum in birthday notification.

By the looks of the other topics I read related to this, it is not possible at the moment. You can disable birthdays altogether (ACP>Users & Groups>User Options>Birthday Management) But at the time, it currently isn't possible.
