Like these. It's happening to loads of people many times a day. The only way we have found that could stop it is to make all posters moderators of a section of the forum. I'm not entirely convinced that works yet but as mods and admins don't have adverts anymore we have seemed to have any pop ups. 

Any ideas?

you are going to have to get an app or search for pop-up blockers that will block them on Mobil devices, I do not even think it has anything to do with forumotion but the device or service one is using for the Mobil devices.

That may even be coming from having a game they have installed, I believe there are settings in your device that can help prevent these as well. it all depends on what device they are using, Like i have a ipod , and have options to be sent notification or advertisements, i always select to not allow and never seem to get many pop-ups like that. So i would tell them to check all settings, and to check options when installing app's etc..
