    Have you tried pressing the backsapce key to make it at the correct place? I've noticed this and that usually solves the issue. 

    I'm just assuming its down to the WYSIWYG element, if you disable that then its likely gonna be like it was before. I don't see this being a bug but like something to do with the WYSIWYG element.

    Press the switch editor mode button (the last one).  It does this on the support forum.  When you are in the WYSIWYG mode, it adds a space.

    Or change the default editor mode:
    admin panel (general >> Messages and e-mails >> Configuration) to enable / disable the WYSIWYG mode by default in the posts.
