when you go onto the chatbox

Surrounding the chatbox is blue then white then blue.
how can I make it all blue??

2. the orange, blue pink and yellow background surrounding the categories stops in the middle of the second forum and doesn't surround the whole category.
how can I fix that to make it surround the whole category??

1) I don't see it.
2) I don't see that problem too.

Maybe, post a better screenshot with a arrow on it for us to understand.
