Domain Name Renewal Not Working

This is pretty important so some help would be nice! Please & thank you!

The domain in question seems to be parked. You may have a problem with your domain registration.

The domain that I posted was our URL before. We got a free domain since we had an active forum but since then the activity of our forum has gone down & didn't auto renew this year.

I am fine with paying for the domain name but it say's it is taken now.

How do I re-attach the domain to our forum?

If you did not booked it, then more likely it has been booked by someone else.

We got the domain free from Forumotion because we had a lot of activity on our site but recently we haven't had the activity we once had. Forumotion did not renew our domain name because of the activity on the site wasn't there.

Now we are trying to buy the domain to use on our forums but when we go to pay for it the domain is taken.

Forumotion is the one that has the domain but we want to connect the domain back to the forums.



I need support on how to get the domain attached back to our forum, make sense?

It could be that someone who has a forum hosted by Forumotion has booked the domain name.

Well what are the chances that someone would claim the domain right after it expires on ours? I highly doubt this is the case. 

I don't think I am being understood correctly. All I need is an admin to point me in the direction of getting our domain back onto our forums..

Here is some info on our domain, it expired on the 2nd of May.

It does not expire until May 2, 2014. You should still have it.

No, the problem isn't even solved yet. I need to reconnect that domain to our forums, how do I get it done?

It's not "parked". It's not picked up by anyone else. Forumotion "bought" the name for us per our request for that name. That name was given to us to use for a shorter duration than the amount of time they own it. We just want to pay for the use of the name again. Not for ownership.

Slgray...you seem to be confused on what the actual issue is and that's what it's still an open problem.

I'll try and explain it differently (I'm the actual forum owner).

About 3 years ago, I got an email saying that I was "given" access to a personalized domain name through forumotion. I was directed to the credits section of the admin panel to create a name. And I did. Www.pwpclan.org

The next 2 years, on the main page of my admin panel, there would be a notification that the domain use was about to expire. But, I was still given the use for free. It said "click here to renew".

This year, due to the forum activity being low, forumotion did not offer it for free this time around.

Now, that is completely fine. Paying for it is not an issue. However, in the admin panel, the only way to "get" a name is to enter the name you want to use. Obviously, I want to continue to use the same name. However, the admin panel only allows creation of a "new" and unregistered name.

Forumotion has the name registered. As they would if I bought a new one through them with credits. But they registered the name for longer than a year. And still have the domain registered.

Since I can not request the name in the admin panel, I need to find out how to go about purchasing the right of use for the exact same name we had for 4 years that forumotion has registered and has for the same amount if time.

I hope that clears it up.

No, the registration has not expired. The 1 year use of the domain name has expired. But FM still has the domain registered themselves. We want to regain ACCESS to using the domain again.

Can you send me via PM the creation email? Also, you need to buy 1600 credits before the operation. When this is done, the renewal process can be done.

I have a domain that won't renew on my forums as it say's it's taken (by our forum obviously). The domain was www.pwpclan.org but the forumotion domain is www.pwpclan.mygoo.org.

So please, how do I fix this?
