Changing Domain name?

Hello there,
My forum (http://www.theafricanstarspack.com/) just renewed our domain name for free. I was wondering if there was any way to be able to change the domain name to http://www.africanstarspack.com instead of our current one? If so, how would you go about doing that? Thanks!

We did get the domain renewal for free, so I'm not sure if that changes anything. 
I would like to switch the domain name, as I have just renewed it for another year. Would changing it remove the domain name?

If I understand you correctly, you will need to cancel the domain name you have now and buy the one you want.

Ah, that's what I was afraid of. Ah well, I'll just stick to the one we have now then. Thanks for the help!
