    Solved Problems with PM messages crashing pc?

    apologies if this is posted in the wrong section but i couldn't see where else to post it.
    My problem is trying to reply to pm messages.
    When i click the the reply button it freezes up my pc.

    Not sure if its a problem with my pc or the forum.
    Has anyone else been having this problem?

    I have not encountered this.

    Could you clarify a few things please ?

    1. ) Which browser(s) is this occurring on & version of the browser(s)
    2. ) How much of the page was loaded before your browser crashed ( a screen shot if possible )
    3. ) Does this happen on your forum, or every forum

    Hi im not sure what browser i'm using or how to find out?
    Dont how to take a screenshot either sorry.

    I can read the incoming message click on reply with bring up the reply box and then the computer just freezes up and i have to retart it.
    Its also happening on this forum but other forums i'm using are fine.

    It could be related to the last update. Someone else has reported issues with private messages - https://help.forumotion.com/t128843-html-in-admin#863096 .

    A browser is what you use to browse the internet.

    Example :

    So the entire computer crashes when you click reply ?

    Im using Internet Explore im now starting to have the same problems with replying to posts.
    couple of other members have since said there having the same problem to.

    Try clearing your cache to see if that helps

    I have also been having the same problem since Monday.When I try to PM a member as soon as I Click the Reply Button the page partly loads then it freezes, the only way out of it is to close IE. It does'nt happen when you use the Reply Button to answer posts, and it does'nt happen if you use the PM Reply Button in Chrome.

    Steven, that is meaning that your computer does not currently have Java installed on it. So you will need to install Java onto your laptop for that feature to work.
