Hyper Link Does Not Work in Topics

Hey There,

Total newbie to Forum. I setup my own forum last weekend and am lost. 

I tried putting a hyperlink into the Topic text using the Hyperlink button on the tool bar, but the it just shows as: 

https://bible.org/article/should-christians-celebrate-christmas

What am I doing wrong?

Awww shucks.....The link didn't work in the preview of my topics, but once I added it to the Forum it worked!
