Locked forum

I made the forum but I see down right corner there is the note "locked forum" with the little lock.
What I have to do to unlock the forum ?

Administration Panel > General > Forum > Categories and forums > the locked forum

Change the forum status to unlocked and save:

But there is not any "forum status" and I don't know why ?

Are you referring to the icons: New Post, No New Post, and Locked Post? Those just explain the icons on the forum.

Yes I mean this. Do you mean the forum is not locked if I see these icons ?

If it is the icon then perhaps its been added to the wrong slot in the Admin Panel.

You can do two tests.

Go to ACP --> Display --> Pics Management --> Advanced --> Icons for the Forums --> check and see if you've got the same image in multiple slots where it shouldn't be. Then also check 'Buttons' and see if everything is correct in that forum.

The second test is go into this forum and click on the locked icon. You should do this with an account that isn't the admin and then see if it comes up with creating a new thread. If it does then this means its just the wrong image being displayed and you should find it in pics management.

You need to be a member, just not with any special powers. You do need to be logged in, just not as an admin.

My forum is not locked and now it is clear.

So, is this problem solved?
