In progress ad popping up on forum

    Post by felicity4us2 January 26th 2014, 4:24 pm

    http://www.igdid.com/forum

Members say that ad http://adf.ly/246619/www.igdid.com is popping up, and when she closes it, it returns to our board, but she can't log in.

    Thanks for checking into this.

Does she press the skip the ad button? If she does, what exactly happens?

It goes back to the http://www.igdid.com/forum but then, the add pops up again when she goes to the 'log-in' page.

No, she says it is just a circle of going to the board, click the login, getting the ad, skipping the ad, ending up back on the board, clicking login, getting the ad, etc. etc. She has tried all of the browsers.

I cannot seem to duplicate what she is saying. I have tried logging out and back in and it is not happening to me. I will write a post and see if anyone else is experiencing this. It does seem odd that ad has our url imbedded though. Thank you.

This sounds like the security filter Forumotion uses.

    Hello,

Can you ask your members if this is happening when they view your forum on a pc or mobile?

I don't know the difference, but they say they are adfly pages, I think.

Yes, see this one - target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://adf.ly/246619/www.igdid.com and they are getting stuck on it and can't login.
