Solved Can I add/Modify posts to a member?

Post by rosahege January 30th 2014, 1:17 am

    Why hello Smile

I've searched through this forum, but I didn't find the answer I was looking for, so:

I'm currently moving my forum. From an old to this new on ForuMotion. We had 140000 forum posts on the old forum, and some members have a lots of posts and they don't want to loose their number of posts and their rank.

Is it any way I can modify the number of posts (like I can do with donating points) so the member get their old nomber of posts and their rank?

    Any suggestions what to do?

    Thanks for all help!

Unfortunately, you cannot edit the number of posts displayed in each user's profile. Regarding the rank, you could create special ranks and manually give that rank to each user with a formerly higher post count. That rank would not change automatically as the post count gets higher over time, so you would have to remember that. Regarding the post count, you could create a profile field and manually type in the post count the user had before on your old forum.

However, it's not possible to manipulate the post count in any way. Sorry.
