    Hello,

Are your domain settings set to this?:
(Admin Control Panel --> General --> Address --> Personalized Domain Name --> Force the URL redirection --> Yes)

    Hello,

    This is no bug.
By using a CNAME, your previous (external) url is still available. There is only a direct redirection if you are using a domaine name with a forumotion url.

You can read this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board

I am not clear your point, we have only one external url. that is http://www.amarkkalam.net
We don't have any more previous external url. Also checked that help pages in fm.

I attached screenshot below for CNAME records in Godaddy domain.

You have to have original address. It is the one that was created when you created the forum.

    Dear Mr. SLGray,

We thank you for your nice support.

We have created that original address is http://amarkkalam.msnyou.com (This sub domain got from forumotion.com)

Our External domain is: http://www.amarkkalam.net/ (Domain bought from Godaddy.com)

We don't have any other address.

    Kindly help me.

    Yes. You are Correct.

    For example:
We need to redirect http://amarkkalam.msnyou.com/t20681-5000 to http://www.amarkkalam.net/t20681-5000

When did you exactly set this up?  It can take up to 72 hours before the process is completely finished.

    Hi

Actually, it is normal both addresses correspond to your forum. Your forum always have 2 url. What you want is not possible with a CNAME.

You can redirect an external forum to a Forumotion url but buying an external domain name will not allow you to redirect your Forumotion sub domain to your external domain.

    Am I clear?

    Yes.  I want the same.

Redirect sub domain to external domain.

Which mean http://amarkkalam.msnyou.com is to be redirected to http://www.amarkkalam.net.
    [AND]
http://amarkkalam.msnyou.com/t20681-5000 is to be redirected to http://www.amarkkalam.net/t20681-5000

    That's all

    Kindly help me.

You do understand that you are only redirecting the domain name to your forum. This means that both addresses are usable and available to you and your members.

Maybe we are misunderstanding it each other.

So the issue is that some links are not chagning into the link that uses the domain name?
