locked topics won't appear in portal (news widget: the portal)

As the tittle said, yeah, the locked threads in a certain board section, associated with the news widget in the forum portal won't show up in the PORTAL, when i want them to.
 
Is there anyway (a script or trick) to make those threads appear?

By default, if a topic is locked it will not display in the news widget. Only activate topics that are unlocked will display in the news widget.

No, I don't believe there is. Basically, if you want the locked topics to be shown in news you must unlock them. If you don't want people to reply, you can change the reply permissions of your news forum.

well you see i want 1 certain topic in the same section as the other locked topics to have people be able to reply to it.

You can inform your members to not post in big CAP letters? Because honestly, there isn't any sort of trick to make that happen, forgive us.
