Hi looks nice but the font is hard to read    maybe without bold effect will be better? i think the normal font is more clean "Search"

Can you provide me the size you need? I know the height is 39px , what about the width?

I don't know man the width just make all same? maybe take the longest width from "Messages" later you will have size for another, what do you think?

Ok these are 39X39px, the font on the two images above are the same, don't know why it looks different on here.

Forum have 5 letters Messages have 8 letters so the width will be longer, FAQ,Forum and Profile don't have same font i think first you need make Messages so you will have the size... because now is not good the space between letters is not same

I realize that when i post them here, on my computer they are all the same size, weird. Let me play around with them and I'll repost them when i'm done.

SHaka, the images are all the same size, Maybe you need to adjust it in the css?

You right the images have same size but the text don't have same size thats why.

MESSAGES have more letters than FAQ or HOME thats why PROFILE,MESSSAGES and LOGOUT don't have space because they have more letters

Perhaps a post in this section, will help you out. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I believe you can adjust the spacing size thru your CSS. Here is a post similar to yours. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The buttons need to be made with the same amount of space (pixels) on both sides of the text so that the space is the same between the words not the icons. So each button will be a different width because of the number of letters in each one.

Well.. yes and no. Depends on what you'd rather have.
My comment was based on the fact I thought you wanted the spacing between the text the same. The only thing about doing it the way I said is then there will be different spacing between the icons so you have to decide what you want to be different, the spacing between the words or the spacing between the icons. You can't have it both ways..
Personally, I'd rather have the space between the icons the same. I'd use what you have and just add more space until it looks decent to you. Just change the 2 to 5 and see how that looks, adjust according to your taste.

Dusty, we've run into this problem quite a few times here, remember?   I figured the way with the CSS would look best., but it's his choice.

And the font size in the buttons is not same
