How to enable the edit post on members thread

my members cannot edit their post, can anyone help me!!!

Make sure the permissions are set correctly at:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
4. Click on the permissions sign   
5. Check 'Edit its own messages' for members

thanks for your help but i found the solution under message and emails on general tab.

i found "Post edit duration limit for a member :" and the default is 0 days 0 hours and 0 minutes.

but how to make the post edit have unlimited amount of time. i mean the members can edit their post forever
