    In progress Litigation Report Questions

    Post by Van-Helsing May 8th 2014, 6:34 pm

    Hi all,
I want to ask about this post https://help.forumotion.com/t132459-i-am-getting-threats-from-a-member-here-what-must-i-do . They have passed over two weeks from the litigation report and it still remains open in my ACP. Is it need more time the litigation team to check it? Who will be close it the litigation team or the person which open it?

    Best Regards,
    Dark-Avenger

    Hello,

If the abuse report is not an official one from Forumotion and has been sent using the 'Report an abuse' tool then you can simply move it to 'Done abuses' in the administration panel.

As long as your forum is following our terms of service [ https://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/terms-of-service.htm ] then you have nothing to worry about.

    Hi Base,
Its not an abuse report its a litigation report as you can see here http://prntscr.com/3hanwx and it still remains open. How many days needs the litigation team to check it and when and from who will be close?

I have never seen that area of the administration panel before. Well, as it says:
You can answer them, but only the person who sent it can close it.

It doesn't look like a Forumotion litigation report. Again, if your forum is following our TOS then you have nothing to worry about. If you know the person who sent the report then you can ask them to close it.

It could be that the person who sent the litigation is still dealing with the litigation team.

Do you know how long is this process? Because the status remain the same from first day until now after two weeks and more.

And I have a question: Can the litigation team close this litigation or only the owner of litigation can close it?

We do not have contact with the litigation team.  Because of this, we do not know how they work.  We only know that they check a forum when they receive a litigation report.

There is no member of the litigation team on the English support forum.  Buttercup and The GodFather are the only two that are part of the company.
