Hi, today i was going to add some codes to my css but when i 'Publish' it crashes and when i reload the page the last codes from the buttom are getting removed. So, my question is: does css got length limit? i got around 2500 lines and i have this problem. If yes, what can i do in this situation? Thanks  

There is a limit. I believe it is over 6,000.  Try to make a code one line.

6000 lines is okey, i got around 2500 but still got this problem :S

I do.. I put every new code on top

you can add CSS <style></style> tag in overall_header

But why the limit its so low? its starting removing codes around ~2400 lines :S

I dont get any message. I will try to explain u with full details.

Today i tried to add some codes (simple, just for some buttons designs, correct syntax) but when i press 'publish' the page is getting blank (complete white) and the 'reload' icon on my browser is "ready" like the page is loaded normally (when the css is working fine, it takes around 10 seconds to accept the new codes i put, but in this situation the page reloads immediately). I press Refresh and i see my css without the new codes and the last lines from the bottom deleted.

Im fine for the moment because i deleted some unused codes but when i will reach again the.."limit" it will do the same i guess. what should i do or whats the problem?? :S

The problem wasnt the codes. I deleted some other unused css and now its working good. But Im aftaid this problem will happen again if i add many lines..

So when you tried to add more codes to your stylesheet, which was already on line 2,400, the new code was not being saved?

The limit with CSS is not in lines but in characters.

Current limit is 2¹⁶ so 65536 characters

Just copy/paste all your css into Notepad, save and check the file size

@SLGray what this exactly do? remove spaces and empty lines? :S

The Css has a limit. I got that a while ago trying to add some codes but now i only add the once that cant be added in the templates. It is easier to add them in templates and a lot more fast. But i have the same question. Why have a limit? Is this useful to something?

I believe the confirmed limit (I've asked other support mods across all FM forums, even those in other languages) seems to be  65,000 characters. 

If you go above this then anything else would be automatically deleted.
