I have a prospective new member for my forum, however, he does not have a Microsoft account, can I still give them access to the forum?

Is there any alternative to Microsoft?

I have no idea, simply that when I invited a particular person to join the forum, he said he could not because he did not have a Microsoft Account. From your reply it would appear that this is  not a problem.

My level of technical knowledge is lower then the Titanic, so I have to rely on yourselves to advise as to what I should tell them, on how to sign in if it requires any particular method.

I will advise the prospect that lack of such an account should not be a problem, and await developments.

Well, judging from the context, it is likely that the person in question does not have an email address. Microsoft accounts can be used as email accounts so perhaps that person meant that.

Unless further clarification is made, there really isn't much we can do since Microsoft and Forumotion are not connected.

What is this member using to access your forum:  laptop, mobile device, desktop computer, XBox, etc.?
