    Solved Change of Forum Domain

    Hi

    We have changed our domain name from Free-Style-Art.com to Freestylearts.co.za

    Please can you assist in the transition of the domain change?

    Hi,

    First you'll have to remove the domain name by going to ACP --> Misc --> Spend Credits --> Domain Name --> Cancel Domain Name

    Then you'll have to read this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board

    Unfortunately we cannot assist you further with pairing a domain you've bought outside of Forumotion to your forumotion forum as we do not know the process other than that tutorial.

    I can't get into our forum to change anything under Spend Credits.

    How should I continue now?

    I have started this forum in 2011, and when the domain name expired I could not get back into the forum, so i'm a bit lost on how to make these change from the Admin side?

    Can you just direct me please

    Right so you can't get actually onto the forum? Is that what you're saying?

    Is this your forum with the domain name - http://free-style-art.com/ ?  What was the address before you added the domain name?

    Hi,

    Yes, the url was free-style-art.com 

    We have registered a new url now freestylearts.co.za, which I need to change to be able to have access to our forum again.

    As you did not renew free-style-art.com domaine name, this latter has expired. You can right access to your forum via http://free-style.africamotion.net/

    If you have bought an external domain name you have to follow this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board
