Is there any way to edit widgets, I get that I can learn code but you know, I dont feel like...   So if there is some simple way to edit then or make my own please do tell.

You can only modify a select few of the default widgets. You can create new widgets here :
Administration Panel > Modules > Forum widgets management > Create a widget

Use the edit button to edit any widgets which are editable.
