inactive members and chatbox problems

First I have a few members that are not active and one of them can't log in because of that..I don't care if they are inactive but when they do try and log in they should be able to no matter what..how do I change that..

Second I found that the chatbox is not showing up for the guests to post..for the life in me I can't find where to change that as well..the chatbox is showing for members though

I don't think guests can use or see the chat box at all.

For your inactive users, head over to Administration Panel >> Users & Groups >> Users >> Inactive Users (then click the following tab) Users deactivated

You can re activate the users there.

Please change the title of your topic to something that is related to your question/issue, so that other users will be able to find their question/issue using the search engine.

What error message do they get when they try to log into the forum?

You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password. I know for a fact that the password and username is correct...I created this other account..


So went back and tried to log in with my other username and same thing..You have specified an incorrect or inactive username


If I can't get my other username where I can log in at anytime..my other friends will get mad if they come back in and it is doing it to them and I don't want that to happen...


If they don't want to log in every once in a while it doesn't matter to me..they have another Sims2 site they maintain and with them being in their 60's and health is bad and it is hard enough for them to keep this other site up and running..I am not going to force them to log in once in a while it just isn't going to happen..


So how do I fix this..


And don't tell me that I have to deactivate them then activate them every so often..that is not going to happen either I don't have time to do that..shouldn't have to..

Only happening to the ones that joined but are not active..which is all of them except 1..not including me..

I have 2 accounts one for Admin and then I added another account..when I tried to log in with my other account it wouldn't let me this is how I found out the problems

Are you sure you haven't marked them down as inactive in the ACP?

It did that on it's own I never touched that or even looked at that until I tried to log in with my other account

Okay so this kooks like a problem for staff mementos and not me I've tried my hardest you can delete the test account now if you like.

I'm very sorry but there's nothing more I can do.

I have some other posts that are saying in progress you can close them as well..these other posts have been solved..
