I am looking for a cool navigation bar to fit my current skin.    Open to suggestions but I would like it to replace the Buttons on the Nav Link i have now but instead of the Home button it would read "Forums"

They are separate images, click and drag one and you'll see...

question, for some reason when I try to use the Messages image and hit save it says I must provide a Menu name?

Are you adding the images here ?
Administration Panel > Display > Pics management > Advance > General / Explore
